Soda Pop  |  Stop Smoking

Dentists have been warning you about
the perils of SUGAR for a long time.

In general, the diet for healthy teeth and gums just requires good nutrition.

To keep your dental choice of what to eat simple, try this rule:

Food made with sugar or flour is not human food.
Come in and find out why.

SODA POP Problems

Acid in the soda dissolves the tooth away directly;
colas
have phosphate that steals calcium from your body,

Sugar feeds decay causing bacteria.

A high school patient of mine came in complaining of sensitive teeth.  No cavities, no trauma, no fillings, nothing could be found wrong with his teeth. Finally I asked him how many sodas he drinks each day. His response? Five to six sodas per day.

So, we tried an experiment...my prescription was "no acidic drinks for 6 weeks, and let's see what happens."

The sensitivity disappeared!
